AD TECH MANAGER – job description


Job purpose:

The Ad Tech Manager will be the IAB Italy expert for all Ad Tech and Data related matters, including both opportunities for the industry and challenges faced such as ad blocking, ad fraud, brand safety and viewability issues.

He will report to the IAB Italy General Manager.


Key responsibilities:

  • The IAB’s ad tech expert – both internally and externally – able to answer member queries relating to ad tech and translate technical concepts into understandable principles for the IAB team internally.
  • Represents IAB Italy on international industry/tech committees
  • Presents internally and to members with a core focus on being able to explain complicated technical principles in a way that is accessible to all
  • Is the first point of contact for the Tech Lab run out of IAB US and ensures that IAB Italy member interests are represented and that IAB Italy members are kept informed and up to date with all developments
  • Establishes and runs a specialist ad tech group for IAB members that acts as an effective way to understand the collective views of IAB members and to disseminate and discuss developments
  • Provides regular updates to italian Board and Steering Groups that ensure IAB members are kept up to date
  • Ensures that IAB Italy is on the front foot when dealing with industry challenges such as ad blocking, fraud, brand safety and viewability and that we are able to communicate our activities in each area in a clear and simple way
  • Represents IAB Italy at IAB Europe on ad tech issues either by attending or dialing into meetings and encourage a joined up approach between IAB Italy and IAB Europe

  • Demonstrate an ability to mentor more junior members of staff
  • Minimum of 3 – 4 years digital experience
  • Ability to present in a clear and concise manner both internally and externally
  • Preparing written collateral such as brief/projects plans or presentations
  • Advanced use of excel and power point.
